![]() Emily had such a beautiful day to get married. Emily took a classic approach for her wedding day makeup. What I remember most about her wedding day was her glowing skin. Her skin was a beautiful honey color. I applied pink to her cheeks and lips, and it was the perfect flush color for her skin tone. Her rosy cheek and lip complemented her winter wedding look. I kept a simple approach with her eyes. The eye shadow colors that I used on her mimicked her natural tones, giving the eye a nude and polished look. I also applied false lashes to her lash line which gave her eyes the perfect definition to walk down the isle with confidence.

![]() Megan got married on a gorgeous fall day in 2011. Megan wanted a fresh look for her special day. She and I created a look that showed off her lips. Her lips were a sparkling coral color, and her cheeks were a soft golden bronze. On her eyes, I used medium tan and brown tones on the lid and lined them with black to give them great definition. I then used black mascara to further complement the eyes. All of this color was applied to flawless skin which gave her a modern and fresh look for her wedding day! ![]() It was such a pleasure to be a part of Rebecca’s wedding. Rebecca and I met for the first time at her trial. She brought pictures with her to the trial that she cut out of magazines to show me what she was looking for in regards to her wedding makeup. I loved this! The trial was a breeze and the wedding day was very smooth and relaxed. On the wedding day I did makeup for the bride, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. A couple months after the wedding day, the bride and her mother scheduled another appointment to learn how to re-create the look. I loved seeing them both again! ![]() Erica got married on a beautiful summer day in Kent Narrows, MD. Because she got married in the summertime, she wanted an effortless look to match the natural beach environment. Enhancing her hazel eye color, I applied a light slate color to her eye lid. On her cheeks I used a sheer pink blush and added a rose gold shimmer to give the perfect twinkle to her cheeks. Her lips mimicked the color of a popsicle stain; a clear shine was added to create a hydrated lip. What a beautiful, carefree bride! ![]() Kristen’s wedding was so much fun. I was brought on board to do the bridesmaids makeup. The bridesmaids wore a beautiful saturated purple cocktail dress. I chose a clean look with “pops” of color. On the eye lid I applied a bronze eye shadow. Then I lined the eyes with emerald green and smudged with a deep grey. A black mascara was applied to create voluminous lashes. The cheeks were a soft nectar. On the lips I applied a pink lip color with a peachy gloss to give everyone a soft and hydrated lip. All of the bridesmaids were so easy to work with and I enjoyed every moment of her wedding day! ![]() Jennifer got married at the stunning Ritz Carlton in Tyson‘s Corner, VA. For her makeup, she expressed interest in a light smoky eye with a neutral lip. Her fairytale wedding makeup was based on an image of Julia Roberts as the spokesperson for Lancôme. Her eyes were lined in black and gradually faded into a warm stone color with a hint of shimmer. To finish the eyes, mascara was applied to the lashes, which gave the eyes an incredibly defined look. Her skin was flawless and her lips and cheeks had a hint of natural color. If you want a defined eyes for your wedding day this is the way to go! Jennifer really pulled it off. ![]() Lindsay Wilson’s wedding was on May 10, 2008. She was so excited to get married. On her wedding day she greeted me at the door singing, “going to the chapel and we’re going to get married.” This was the wonderful atmosphere that was set for her big day. She wanted a modern smoky eye, with a pink cheek and lip; this complemented her perfectly. A modern smoky eye is very easy to wear for all brides! It starts with a deep color eyeliner and false lashes! On the lid a medium shade is applied and under the brow bone mimics the color of the natural skin tone. Incredibly beautiful for a bride that wants the attention focused on her eyes! It was so much fun helping Lindsay come up with the look for her big day! ![]() I had the pleasure of working with Amy Burkey on her Wedding day. She got married on Turf Valley’s golf course in Ellicott City. When I got to the room to do her makeup, she was so excited for her big day. She told me that she couldn‘t sleep all night because she was waiting for this moment. She wore a natural, clean, and classic look, and she was truly a glowing bride! At her trial, she expressed needing jewelry for her bridesmaids. They wore a long strapless black dress, and she was looking for the perfect “statement” piece that everyone would feel comfortable wearing. I hand-crafted a classic dangle earrings made with Swarovski crystals. They complemented the dresses perfectly; absolutely stunning! |
